Community unveild “Inspector Spacetime,” a show-within-a-show that was a riff of Doctor Who, with Travis Richey as the title character, Inspector Spacetime.

During an interview with BBC, Gillan said

“I wasn’t familiar with ['Community'] until recently when my flatmates said ‘do you realize there’s a ‘Doctor Who’ spoof in a show over in the states?’ So we sat down and I watched one of the episodes and got hooked. And now I really, really love ‘Community.’”

“I love Inspector Spacetime,” continued Gillan. “It’s so funny because that’s what we do at work everyday! And then to see it over in the states in spoof form is kind of brilliant.”

“Hey ‘Community,’ I just want to say that anytime you may need an Amy Pond on Inspector Spacetime, just let me know,” offered Gillan.

Recent Twitter converstation with a fan and Steven Moffat outed one of the characters in Doctor Who as bisexual.

This was brought on by a question relating to how the Doctor would respond to gay marriage, to which Moffat very accuratley pointed out

Clearly whoever asked the question hasn’t been watching Doctor Who at all. The Doctor has come up against all sorts of characters in his meanering and not one of them has had to explain their sexual preference to him, simply because he doesn’t care.

BBC announced that Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will be released globally on PlayStation Network Wednesday, May 23, and in the UK retail the following Friday.

“We really appreciate your patience as we’ve been making sure the game is perfect for all you eager fans.” said executive producer Simon Harris

Karen Gillan just Tweeted:

Karen Tweet's the Pond's Last Moment

Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have just finished filming their last scenes for Doctor Who.  And so, as is the tradition with this show, another saga comes to an end.  Amy Pond and Rory Williams will no longer be our companions on the TARDIS, and we’ll have to wait a few more months to see how their final story plays out.

On a more personal note, I for one have too many emotions to properly convey how I feel about this.  I wanted to reply to Karen’s tweet, and tell her, “Thank you for the memories.”  Or, “We’ll always miss you.”  But it felt like no matter what I said it wouldn’t have the full emotional impact I wanted it to.  How do you tell someone you’ve never actually met how much they have impacted your life?

If Karen or Arthur are reading this, I just want them to know that they brought so much joy, laughter, and pure heart aboard the TARDIS.  You gave my friends, family, and myself a very special gift.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Steven Moffat has admitted that he felt tremendous pressure writing out wo of the show’s stars.

“The event status of Amy and Rory leaving, which I’ve just written, you feel tremendous pressure with that,” Moffat told The Huffington Post. “Because you don’t know if you’ve enjoyed a story until it’s over, and this is the ending.

“And then you’re bringing someone else in [as the new companion]. All that is massively demanding.”

Moffat added that it remains difficult to keep Doctor Who “very near the top” throughout a series run.

“We’re always trying to work out how to get episode seven coverage in the newspapers,” he explained. “Obviously episode one will [be written about], but how do you make [a later episode] a must-see?

“There’s a constant game of that, because Doctor Who is an expensive show, it has to be very near the top all the time. That’s tough to keep going.”

Smith has recently described the script for the episode as ‘incredible’.

“[I am] really, really pleased with [the scripts],” said Smith. “So if we get them right, the Ponds’ final hour could be incredible.”
